The K-Pop industry has pretty strict standards regarding idol ownership. But when it comes to music, they go off the rails quite often. You might not come across a K-Pop version of “WAP” anytime soon, but trust it, there are countless K-Pop songs that are insanely level but a bit more poetic.

1. “Cream” – EXID
The song was from EXID’s debut studio album, Street, which was released in 2016. The chorus of the song reads, “You’re like cream / You’re ruining my body.” As if that wasn’t exciting enough, the deck really explains it all with these lines:Kiss me baby, do it right, left right down”
2. “Ride” – Jay B (GOT7)
The title of the song is pretty self-explanatory, but it doesn’t really hit you until Jay B’s voice serenades you with these words: “I’m gonna knock you down / I’m gonna fall deeper / I can hear your sound / Let me hear it endlessly / So match the beat now / In the tempo of fixation, panic all night.”
Whatever was in the water in the studio the day he recorded that song… someone put some more, Please.
3. “Flowering” – Gain
If you thought you’d seen the most explicit K-Pop music video ever, no, you haven’t. Unless you’re talking about “Bloom”. The song’s lyrics are pretty innocent on the surface. The chorus says:Why does it feel good? / What did you do to me? / That sleepy night / What opened my eyes was / That one kiss.
But combine that with footage of a full sex scene in the video and another scene of Ga In’s character pleasuring herself on the kitchen floor, and…yeah, she’s not so innocent anymore, n’ is this not ?
4. “Thirst” – Taemin
The entire song is a sultry feast from start to finish, but here’s the part of the bridge that perfectly captures the essence of the song:
“No matter how much it overflows, it’s not enough
I’m still thirsty for your love
Oh just one more sip

Above my empty and abandoned heart

It’s also debatable that much of Taemin’s discography is actually inside the horny cell. As one Reddit user aptly pointed out, “Taemin’s entire discography is about meeting a girl so hot it makes him want to quit being a Catholic..”
5. “Diamond” – MAMAMOO
Trust the queens of empowerment to make a sexy song that puts women’s sexuality in the spotlight. The opening verse explains everything clearly and simply:
