MONSTA X member contracts are the order of the day.
On August 8, Starship Entertainment announced the contract renewals of 5 group members.
Concerning IM, he will leave the agency, even if he will continue to be part of the group.

Starship Entertainment recently renewed contracts with five of our agency’s artist members MONSTA X, Shownu, Minhyuk, Kihyun, Hyungwon, and Jooheon. As the six members still have an unchanging affection for MONSTA X and the MONBEBEs, we have come to a mutual agreement that IM will continue together for future group activities.
Based on the loyalty and trust we have built with each other, we will do our utmost to make the future activities of members shine even brighter, and we are committed to providing comprehensive and systematic support.
We have had sincere discussions with IM, but our exclusive contract with him will unfortunately come to an end. We express our deep appreciation for IM’s hard work, effort and dedication over the years. We will encourage and support IM’s future activities and its new path.
