The show was one of the most popular survival shows at the time, including rising stars like AKMU Yes james(formerly Park Jimin). Here is a list of some current K-Pop idols that you might not know were on the show.
1. WJSN’s Dayoung
In K-Pop Star Season 2, 13-year-old Dayoung auditioned in front of JYP, BoaYes Yang Hyun Suk. Even though she was super nervous and had to start over, Dayoung passed the audition by charming the judges with her cuteness. She passed the first round, but was eventually sent home. 2.ITZY’s Chaeryoung
The lead dancer of all-star girl group ITZY debuted in Season 3 of popstar K. Singing user interfaceIt’s a day and we dance BeyonceChaeryoung’s “End of Time” made sure to amaze the judges with his skills at such a young age. 3. Chaeyeon (former member of IZ*ONE)
Acting just before his younger sister Chaeryoung in Season 3 of popstar Kprevious ONLY Chaeyeon also surprised the judges with her talent at only 14 years old. He also spent the first round singing the classic “Lullaby of Birdland” from Ella Fitzgerald and dance the “Go” of drunk tiger. He joined JYP Entertainment after being eliminated later on the show. Although he was unable to debut with JYPE, he joined the survival show Produce 48 and placed 12th, which allowed him to debut in the group. ONLY. Check out his performance here!
4. Denise Kim (former member of SECRET NUMBER)
Audition for season 5 of popstar K and be placed in the group Mazinga, Denise Kim arrived in the top 4 of the show with her group. In the first season of k popstar, Park Jaehyung swooned in front of the judges with his silky voice and guitar skills. He eventually reached number six on the show and signed an exclusive contract with JYP Entertainment after the show. made his debut in the group day6 in 2015 and left the group in 2021. 6. Kevin from The Boyz
Take part in the last season of k pop star, Moon Hyungseo turned out to be a smooth and smooth singer. With her charming appearance and singing talent, she managed to pass the first round. Although he was eliminated in the second round of group missions, he was able to sign a contract with STI Entertainment(formerly Cre.ker Entertainment) and debuted with THE BOYZ in 2017.
