More recently, netizens in chauvinistic online communities have begun to champion the character as one of their own, fueling many viewers’ contempt for the character.
It seems the hatred for the character is so strong that many aren’t interested in any form of redemption for the character.
On the August 10 episode of the drama, Kwon Min Woo and Woo Young Woo’s friend and co-worker Choi Soo Yeon was portrayed as possibly having feelings for each other. It was also revealed that Kwon Min Woo’s greatest driving force was not his ambition but his sick father.
