And it seems there are no limits to V’s success, as he has now overtaken another major K-Pop group in Spotify in followers!
He has been a solo artist on the app for a few years now, and was even the first solo K-Pop artist to surpass 5 million followers and monthly listeners simultaneously on Spotify in January this year.
His number of subscribers has nearly doubled and currently stands at around 9.27 million, making him the seventh most followed Korean artist on Spotify.
This number was high enough to exceed no less than exowhich has been on the music streaming app for years longer than V!
What’s even more impressive is that V is the only K-Pop artist to enter the top 10 most followed on Spotify without yet having his own solo album or mixtape.
