CJ ENM has decided to change the name of MAMAs.
MNET’s famous year-end ceremony is called ‘MAMA’, an acronym for ‘Mnet Asian Music Awards’, but the ceremony will have a new name starting this year.
On August 24, CJ ENM confirmed that the ‘MAMAs’ have now become the ‘MAMA Awards’, although no explanation has been given regarding the new meaning.
Anyway, the dates of the 2022 version ceremony have also been announced.
The ceremony will be held at the Kyocera Dome in Osaka, Japan this year on November 29 and 30, 2022.
