Recently, IST Entertainment announced that the young man suspended his activities with VICTON after the police stopped him while drunk driving his car.
Following this, Heo Chan issued an apology in a letter.
In this letter he states:
“Hello. It’s Heo Chan.
First of all, I bow my head and sincerely apologize for having had to bring you this shameful news ahead of many scheduled activities.
Again, I apologize for causing social controversy due to my wrongful behavior on September 20.
As a public figure who should set a positive example for the general public and my fans, I should have felt even more responsible for my actions, but instead I ended up causing great disappointment through a only time I made the wrong choice.
I sincerely reflect on my wrongdoings and spend each day immersed in regret and blame.
Above all, I ended up looking back on myself and my flaws once again thinking of our fans who have spent the last six years believing in me and cheering me on, and my colleagues. members of VICTON, the people of our agency, our many staff members and the many others who must have been hurt by my actions.
Compared to the pain and disappointment you all must have felt because of this incident, I will repent many times more deeply and feel this to the bone. I will engrave in my heart all the criticism and reprimands I receive for my irreversible actions, and I will reflect deeply on myself so that I can live my life becoming someone I am not ashamed of.
