Heo Chan leaves VICTON definitively.
Recently, IST Entertainment announced that the young man suspended his activities with VICTON after the police stopped him while drunk driving his car.
He then apologized, and we had no further news on the subject.
On October 11, IST Entertainment finally announced that Heo Chan was leaving VICTON, and the group would now continue with 6 members.
In a statement posted on the group’s fancafé, the agency said:
“Hello, this is IST Entertainment.
We would like to express our sincere gratitude to the fans who love VICTON. We would like to inform you of the following member change.
After careful consideration and discussion with all members of VICTON, including Heo Chan, it has been decided that Heo Chan will leave the group. This decision was made taking into account his opinion and that of the group that he did not want to cause more problems for the group.
Once again, we apologize for causing fans concern with this sudden announcement, and ask for your understanding.
VICTON will reorganize into a group of six members, and from the ‘VICTON FANCONCERT [CHRONICLE] 2022’ is scheduled for October 15 and 16, and for their future activities, they will be promoting as a five-member group as Han Seung Woo is currently serving his military service.
VICTON members are working hard to prepare the ‘VICTON FANCONCERT [CHRONICLE] 2022’ that fans have been waiting for. We ask for your continued concern and support for the members of VICTON who are preparing hard so that their efforts are not wasted.
