ISAC 2022 has just revealed the disciplines in which the idols will compete!
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the famous idol competition had been put on hiatus due to the health and social distancing rules imposed in South Korea although there was still a spin-off. off titled “2020 Idol Star eSports Championships” which pitted idols against video games.
Recently, 3 years after its last real edition, the event announced its return this year for the Chuseok celebrations.
On July 19, MBC then revealed details about the Idol Star Athletics Championships, including the presenters of the show, as well as the disciplines in which the idols will compete.
Indeed, we will be able to find Jun Hyun Moo, Lee Hong Ki from FTISLAND, and Dahyun from TWICE at the presentation, and as for the disciplines, the idols will be able to participate in athletics, archery, futsal, eSports, as well as a new discipline: dance sport.
