bts were recently named ambassadors of World Expo 2030 Busan and it was announced that the group will hold a large-scale concert to support Busan’s bid.
According to a new media report, BTS’ company HYBE Labels has agreed to hold the concert at no cost. The concert is expected to attract 100,000 people and will be the biggest event ever held in the city.
HYBE is currently in the process of finalizing the venue for the event. According to reports, three locations in particular are being considered: Busan Asiad Main Stadium (capacity over 53,000), Samnak Ecological Park (area 4,722,000 m2) and Bukhang Port. Considering this is the septet’s first live performance in South Korea since March, large numbers of ARMYs are expected to flock to see them perform in Busan. Therefore, the venue with the largest capacity should be chosen to accommodate as many as possible.
While Korean fans are celebrating this news, international fans are currently being hit hard by this FOMO.

There is also some confusion around the “free” claim. Fans are trying to figure out if this means BTS won’t charge a performance fee, but fans will still have to buy a ticket, or if the whole offer is free.
So… is it “free” in the sense that people don’t have to pay for tickets, or in the case of BTS and their company, they won’t accept payment to participate? 😳😳😳

Other fans noted that it would be a looping moment for the band as their first concert in the United States was also free with an audience of around 200 people. During permission to dance concert, member of BTS Jin He also talked about wanting to do a free concert in the future and meet as many fans as possible.
the first FREE bts concert was with less than 10,000 people, now the second FREE bts concert will be with MUCH MORE than 10,000 people
