BTS J-Hope’s Lollapalooza Performance Receives Rave Reviews From Locals

BTS J HopeThe jaw-dropping performances of the Lollapalooza Music Festival 2022 drew rave reviews not only from ARMYs, but non-fans and locals alike. Among an audience of thousands who flocked to see J-Hope perform solo for the first time, some were stunned enough by his performance to take to social media and praise him for his hard work.

“I just got back from the show and as someone who has never heard of this guy but obviously heard of who BTS was, I went in with an open mind because he was the headliner. replacing Doja Cat and I can say that it exceeded my expectations. . Easily one of the best artists of the night and I was looking around and these people were literally singing these songs word for word in a different language and holding this bubble the whole time and I don’t know which song the 3rddoctor one was he had a crazy trap beat but i need to find it and i need it on my playlist (also where he was singing when he first got the mic) loved it his voice on this track. Their songs were extremely diverse and generally fun to watch. An incredible artist and I didn’t expect him to have so much energy. All 4 would have burned me.the hahaha song.

J-Hope’s boundless energy was truly contagious!

Rock/pop fan here, my 5 favorite ATM bands are Foo Fighter, NIN, Metallica, Weezer and QOTSA. Knowing that, you’d think I’d go for Green Day, but I had a feeling it would be a repeat of Hella Mega, Shaky Knees, and Innings Fest. (He was right) Instead, I went to J-Hope because it would be a rare opportunity to see something very different, K-pop! It was an amazing performance and I was amazed at the interaction with the audience. I even found myself headbanging on some songs too! It was a great way to end the festival weekend, I can safely say that I understand. It was definitely an outstanding performance for me and it makes me rethink my top 5 for this year.

All of these rave reviews prove that J-Hope’s leap of faith to perform in front of a crowd beyond ARMY was worth the risk. Her Lollapalooza performance echoes a statement she made during her interview with W Korea, giving an inspiring reason behind all her hard work.

These days, my needs and wants are great and many, but more than ‘I want to be recognized’, it’s closer to ‘I want people to know that my country exists’.
