bts recently announced that they will continue their Dalmajung merchandising collection in 2022, releasing four stunning video teasers and member photos M, Jin, ExpectYes Suga before the official reveal of the merchandise line on September 6.
In the concept photos, the members wear hanbok in the light of the moon. The teaser images show that the merchandising style will be based on traditional Korean clothing and designs, just like they did last year.
The ethereal images of the members weren’t the only thing that caught ARMY’s attention.
Unsurprisingly, posting the teasers started trending on Twitter, but ended up being for some surprising yet hilarious reason.
The unsuspecting hashtag “#FOR FREE” was all the rage, and when fans clicked on it, they realized it was for BTS.
Some fans hoped that “free” was a way to express their gratitude for getting quality BTS content for free, like the Dalmajung conceptual photographs. In a way, it was, but the hashtag specifically celebrated the fact that BTS’ RM and Suga were barefoot in their photos.
Even fans hilariously admitted that even though clicking on the vague hashtag was a wildcard, it still wasn’t what they expected.
I thought I had gotten pretty good at predicting what Twitter trends were about BTS, but for some reason I really didn’t expect to see so many foot pics when I clicked “FREE”.

As an ARMY veteran, although I didn’t expect this trend to be about the feet, I thought it was about their next gig in Busan, but I don’t know if I’m just surprised or pleasantly surprised by the actual results, or what it is. say about me…

Lmao even i clicked trends thinking oh this must be a free gig but ig boracity is too strong for our boys feet pics. Rule number one is “no free foot pics” so when our guys post free foot pics I have to yell at them lol

ARMY pointed out that BTS could “make millions” by selling photos of their feet, but were providing this quality content to fans for free.
