Chaeryeong (ITZY) recently mentioned being inspired by Joy (Red Velvet) on a rather unexpected criterion.
On August 6, the members of ITZY appeared on Knowing Bros.
During the show, Heechul notably asked the girls what was the hardest part of promoting their new single, “SNEAKERS.”
It was then Chaeryeong who spoke, the young woman saying that managing to smile while dancing the choreography was the most complicated part.
“Before, we could let our emotions follow the powerful choreographies thanks to the charismatic concepts of our songs, but this time we have to keep smiling despite intense movements”revealed Chaeryeong.
When Kang Ho Dong asked if she took classes to learn how to smile while performing, Chaeryeong replied that she watched a lot of videos from artists older than her.
She thus revealed: “I took Joy from Red Velvet as an example because she has the most beautiful and natural smile.”
