DAY6 members continue the adventure with JYP Entertainment!
On September 26, the agency announced that the four members of the group had decided to renew their contract.
In a statement, JYP Entertainment said:
“DAY6 members Sungjin, Young K, Wonpil, and Dowoon have all renewed their contracts with us.
We plan to continue our meaningful journey together based on the deep trust built between DAY6, a band with its own musical signature, and JYP Entertainment, which has a wealth of experience in band management.
We need a pillar on which the future of DAY6 can depend, and we will spare no effort in our strategic support so that DAY6 can soar even higher in the future.”
DAY6 had started in September 2015, which explains that the contracts of the members ended this month.
Several members have already left the group in the past, including Jae who also left the agency in December 2021.
The group is therefore now composed of four members, and they have therefore all renewed their contract with the agency.
