Doyoung Forgotten on NCT 127’s Album Cover; SM Entertainment apologizes and promises to reprint the albums

SM Entertainment issued an apology.

On September 16, NCT 127 released their brand new album titled “2 Baddies”.

However, fans who purchased the digipack version of the physical album were frustrated to discover that Doyoung did not appear on the cover.

Indeed, all the members of NCT 127 are lined up on the back of the cover, but only eight members are seen, and Doyoung has been left out.

Following the many criticisms that were quickly leveled against SM Entertainment for forgetting the photo of a member of the group, the agency issued an apology.

SM Entertainment also clarified that new copies will be printed.

In a statement, the agency said:

“Hello, this is SM Entertainment.

We’ve confirmed that Doyoung’s image is missing from the digipack version of NCT 127’s “2 Baddies” album.

We sincerely apologize to the fans, Doyoung, and the rest of the NCT 127 members for not thoroughly checking all parts of the album cover design process.

After verifying this oversight, we tried to find a way to replace the image in the album released today.

However, we found it difficult to find albums already delivered to sellers and buyers.

The photobooks will be reprinted and sent to those who received the digipack version with the missing photo as soon as possible, and details will be announced separately as soon as things are finalized.

Once again, we deeply apologize to the fans for our mistake and for the inconvenience caused.
