Hong Eunchae will miss THE FACT Music Awards 2022.
On October 3, and as LE SSERAFIM makes its comeback on October 17, Source Music announced that Hong Eunchae had contracted COVID-19.
While LE SSERAFIM will appear at THE FACT Music Awards on October 8, Hong Eunchae will therefore be absent.
The agency said in a statement:
“Hello.
It’s Source Music.
We would like to provide you with some information regarding LE SSERAFIM member Hong Eunchae’s positive COVID-19 test and his activities.
Hong Eunchae underwent a rapid antigen test on Sunday October 2 after experiencing cold symptoms and was diagnosed with COVID-19.
None of the members of LE SSERAFIM other than Hong Eunchae are showing any symptoms, and everyone received negative results from a rapid antigen test carried out as a preventive measure on Monday, October 3.
The planned activity of LE SSERAFIM will be carried out without any modification. However, we would like to inform you that Hong Eunchae will not be participating in THE FACT Music Awards 2022 on Saturday October 8th and only the other four members will be participating.
The agency puts artists’ health at the top of its priorities, and we will do everything we can to help Hong Eunchae recover quickly. We will also cooperate seriously with requests and directives from health authorities.

THE FACT Music Awards 2022 will take place this October 8th.
