On July 31, HighUp Entertainment announced the suspension of the singer’s activities following an injury.
The agency said:
“Hello, this is HighUp Entertainment.
We are writing to inform you of the injury of STAYC member ISA and to provide an update on the group’s activities. ISA injured her right ankle while preparing for her scheduled activities today and is currently undergoing treatment.
As we give top priority to the health of our artists, STAYC members will not be appearing on today’s episode of SBS’s Inkigayo in order to focus on ISA’s recovery.
All STAYC members except ISA will attend today’s fansign and tomorrow’s scheduled taping for MBC’s ISAC (Idol Star Athletics Championships) as scheduled.
A further press release will be issued regarding ISA’s future activities, which will be planned based on its recovery.
