j-hope (BTS): “I want people to see that I can do whatever I want”

j-hope recently spoke about his vision of music and how he works on his own sounds.

Recently, the BTS member appeared on ZICO’s show, “Give me a minute.”

During the broadcast, ZICO explained that he likes to dive deep into music and do nothing else to create songs, but it must have been more difficult for BTS with all the activities of the group.

j-hope then expressed: “Honestly, in the past, I really didn’t have time. We had so many things to do as BTS. I often worked on music from overseas with just a computer and a dynamic mic.”

About his own album, “Jack in the Box”, the young man said: “Following trends and stuff is not a bad thing, and it’s something I can do, but I want people to see that I’m capable of doing what I want. That I am that kind of artist.”

When ZICO added that his musical identity was featured on this album, j-hope replied: “I thought it was necessary to do this before taking another step in my musical journey.”
