Three members of BOTOPASS leave the group.
Started on August 26, 2020, BOTOPASS sees three of its members leave two years later, on August 25, 2022.
Jiwon, Seoyoon and CuiXiang, the three departing girls, are former members of ILUV who had been accused of harassing Minah, another member of the group at the time, who had tried to end her life.
WKS ENE, the agency of BOTOPASS, issued a statement in which we can read:
“We always appreciate your generous love and support for BOTOPASS.
Mihee, who participated in MBC’s survival ‘My Teenage Girl’, returned to us in August 2022. We look forward to showing off her excellent performances very soon.
Jiwon, Seoyoon, and CuiXiang ended their exclusive contract, and decided to go their own way, including resuming their studies.
BOTOPASS, which hoped to meet its fans around the world as an international group from Korea, China and Japan, has decided to stop its current composition of 8 members and is looking for a new combination due to various situations.
We would like to express our apologies for not being able to communicate with you sooner on this matter. We will come back with news to share with you.
