Kim Garam (ex-LE SSERAFIM) speaks out regarding the harassment accusations against her

Kim Garam has spoken.

Accused of school violence following the debut of LE SSERAFIM, Kim Garam had put her career on hold to clear up this affair.

On July 20, HYBE then announced that her contract had been terminated and that she had therefore officially left LE SSERAFIM and the agency.

This August 10, Kim Garam then spoke officially for the first time on the subject through the Instagram account of one of her friends.

In a letter posted on the account in question, Kim Garam apologizes for having waited so long before posting this message of apology.

She then explains that she had never used violence or ever harassed anyone.

“I was just an ordinary student. I was afraid that my past actions would destroy everything I had worked so hard for. But as time went on, the thing I feared the most was the criticism that came my way.”

She then reveals that the incident took place when she was in middle school, even showing the school violence committee document from the time to prove her bona fides.

According to her, she was only trying to help a friend who was being bullied.

“At the time, at the time, I thought it was the right thing to do to help the victim. I hadn’t realized the seriousness of the situation, and I thought my actions could only encourage it. Looking back on it, I was very immature.”

“At the time, friendship was the most important thing for me. My methods were wrong and clumsy, but I don’t want to hate myself for what happened back then.

Kim Garam then explains that her two weeks of promotions with LE SSERAFIM were like a dream for her.

She also thanks fans for supporting and loving her while she worked at HYBE, and promises to work hard to be a better person in the future.
