KQ Files Complaint Against YouTuber Over Video Spreading ATEEZ Lies

KQ Entertainment has filed a complaint against a YouTuber following a video spreading lies about ATEEZ.

On August 17, the agency announced that measures had been taken against a YouTuber for a malicious video against his boygroup.

KQ Entertainment said in a statement:

“Hello.

It’s KQ Entertainment.

The agency and our artist ATEEZ filed a criminal complaint with an investigation unit yesterday in response to a YouTuber who recently posted a malicious video on grounds including violation of the Promotion of Use Act information and communication networks and protection of information, insults, obstruction of business, and copyright infringement. All related evidence has been presented.

Additionally, we deemed this to be a particularly malicious case as the YouTuber produced a video portraying lies as the truth and was using it for personal monetary gain.

Since this is an act of misappropriation of fans’ love and support for ATEEZ, we have decided on a strong legal response.

We strongly urge anyone who has written baseless allegations or malicious posts about the agency or agency artists to at least delete the posts now, and we would like to inform you that there will be no clemency or agreement in future sanctions.

We will continue to protect the rights of our artists in the future. Please forward the reports and related evidence to the given email address.

Thanks.”
