NCT DREAM cancels concerts at the last minute after Renjun and Mark test positive for COVID-19

NCT DREAM cancels its concerts in Seoul.

From July 29 to 31, NCT DREAM was scheduled to perform at Gocheok Sky Dome for three concerts.

However, Mark recently contracted COVID-19, and Renjun went down the same path on July 27, prompting SM Entertainment to cancel the concerts.

In a statement, the agency said:

“Hello.

Today, NCT’s Renjun tested positive for COVID-19.

Renjun noticed unusual symptoms and a change in his condition today, so he used a self-test kit, and his result was positive. So he immediately underwent a PCR test, and he was eventually diagnosed with COVID-19.

Renjun received three doses of the COVID-19 vaccine, and he immediately halted all planned activities and is currently undergoing home treatment under self-quarantine as directed by government health authorities.

As a result, we inform you that NCT DREAM’s solo concert ‘THE DREAM SHOW 2: In A Dream’ which was scheduled for July 29-31 has inevitably been cancelled.

Although all the members and staff of NCT DREAM have worked hard to prepare a concert that meets the expectations of the fans who have been waiting for this concert, we have unfortunately made the inevitable decision that in the current situation, we will not be able to give the best concert possible, so we ask for the deep and generous understanding of the fans.

All tickets sold will be fully refunded, and we will inform you of the details via the ticketing platform.

Our agency will also continue to strictly adhere to health authority guidelines going forward, and we will consider the health and safety of our artists our top priority and do everything we can to help them focus entirely on their treatment and recovery. .

Thanks.”
