Netizens Conclude IST Entertainment’s Discrimination Against THE BOYZ Compared To Its Other Artists

Does IST Entertainment discriminate against THE BOYZ?

It’s a question that many people ask themselves since the comeback of the boygroup.

First of all, it should be known that THE BOYZ was a group of Cre.Ker Entertainment, before the merger of the agency with Play M Entertainment, the two entities having come together to form IST Entertainment.

Under IST Entertainment, we find Apink, THE BOYZ, VICTON, Weekly, as well as ATBO.

A few days ago, THE BOYZ made their comeback, and the fans were already very surprised to see that nothing had been organized by the agency for the group’s comeback. No event, no showcase, no press conference, no mini-concert, nothing to allow the members to present their new album to fans or the press.

The fans were therefore extremely surprised, especially since THE BOYZ is no longer to be presented in South Korea, the group always managing to place their titles in the TOP10 of the charts on Korean soil since their appearance in “Road to Kingdom ” and coming out of a series of concerts that gathered more than 45,000 people in Seoul at the beginning of August.

But Internet users have since continued to ask questions, and are beginning to think that IST Entertainment is discriminating against THE BOYZ.

Indeed, since the start of the promotions, IST Entertainment has been sharing the performances of all its artists, except THE BOYZ.

This Sunday, for example, THE BOYZ and ATBO were performing on the Inkigayo stage, and IST Entertainment’s Twitter account only shared ATBO’s performance.

A day before, on Saturday, THE BOYZ and ATBO performed at Music Core, and similarly, IST Entertainment only shared ATBO’s performance.

At Music Bank on the Friday just before that, three artists from IST Entertainment performed: THE BOYZ, ATBO and Weekly. And again, only ATBO and Weekly’s performances were shared by the agency’s Twitter account.

On Liberation Day, Apink CHOBOM and THE BOYZ were in attendance for a unique concert at the Blue House, an event where Juyeon even gave an official speech. But again, IST Entertainment only shared the link of Apink CHOBOM’s performance.

In the same way, Internet users explain that the Twitter account shares practically no information on the group despite the dozens of articles concerning THE BOYZ posted in connection with their comeback.

Since the comeback, one of the rare information that could be posted about the group is information about Younghoon being the special presenter of Inkigayo, information that the Twitter account of IST Entertainment has also shared the day- even from the show.

Regarding the agency’s Instagram account, it’s the same thing.

We only find there ATBO, Apink, CHOBOM, VICTON and Weeekly, artists who are also very widely promoted with their teaser photos, especially on each of their comebacks, but THE BOYZ does not appear anywhere, and no post n was made by the agency about the boys’ comeback.

Internet users have therefore long criticized the behavior of the agency vis-à-vis THE BOYZ.

Many of them also regretted the merger of Cre.Ker and Play M, explaining that the situation was different before the creation of IST Entertainment, and that Cre.Ker Entertainment took care of THE BOYZ much better before.

According to multiple sources, many people who also worked with THE BOYZ within Cre.Ker Entertainment have been replaced by IST Entertainment employees since the merger, which has greatly changed the way things work, so much so that even the stylists and producers of the group since 2017 no longer work with THE BOYZ, IST having chosen to replace them.
