NewJeans broke a new record!
HYBE and ADOR’s new girlgroup recently debuted with the release of their debut album titled “New Jeans.”
After 24 hours, this album became the best-selling debut album by a K-POP girl group in one day thanks to an impressive sales figure.
This August 14 marked the seventh day of sales of this album, and so we discovered after midnight the sales figures in one week of the girlgroup’s album.
NewJeans then broke a record by becoming the best-selling debut album by a KPOP girlgroup in a week.
It was LE SSERAFIM which held this record with the 307,450 copies of “FEARLESS” sold in one week, but the record was therefore narrowly beaten by NewJeans thanks to the 311,271 copies of “New Jeans” sold in one week. Just yes, because it was necessary to wait for the very last hours of the seventh day to see the NewJeans album take the lead.
As for the TOP5 best-selling first girlgroup albums in a week, it is as follows:
1. NewJeans with “New Jeans” – 311,271 copies
2. THE SSERAFIM with “FEARLESS” – 307,450 copies
3. aespa with “Savage” – 276,877 copies
4. NMIXX with “AD MARE” – 227,399 copies
5. Kep1er with “FIRST IMPACT” – 206,569 copies
