Jihyo recently talked about the idols that are debuting right now.
On August 31, the two TWICE members were guests on the radio show “Wendy’s Young Street” hosted by Wendy (Red Velvet) on SBS PowerFM.
During the show, they notably revealed that they would like to be closer to the members of NewJeans and IVE.
Following this, Jihyo then mentioned NewJeans’ debut.
She revealed: “There is something I learned that was a shock to me.”
“My younger sister was born in 2008, and there’s a big age gap between us”continued the young woman.
She then continued: “But there’s a member of NewJeans who was born in 2008. So I really feel like she’s like my little sister.”
She is talking here about Hyein, a member of NewJeans born in 2008.
Finally, she added: “And since my little sister is such a baby to me, seeing her already working alongside me in the industry made me worry and say, ‘I hope she doesn’t get sick or not tired, and I hope she will not encounter any difficulties’.”
