The terrible super typhoon Hinnamnor has caused serious damage in South Korea.
This September 6 around 5 a.m., the typhoon reached Korean soil near Geoje in the southeast of the country.
The cyclone then crossed the country for more than two hours, accompanied by winds of incredible intensity and causing heavy rains, especially in Pohang, a city which had already been hit by a large-scale earthquake a few years ago. .
The inhabitants of the villages near the rivers were all evacuated, and a flood alert had been issued to avoid accidents.
In total, more than 2,600 schools throughout the territory have also been closed for safety, in order to prevent any danger.
Truly impressive flooding was also reported in the typhoon’s wake, and power cuts were widespread across the country.
Currently, it appears that the typhoon is moving away from the peninsula.
The provisional toll, however, reports two dead and ten people missing at the present time.
This could also increase in the coming hours, while South Korea will take stock of the missing and the material goods damaged following the passage of the typhoon.
